The certification includes 3 steps
There are several points that need to meet in order to pass inspection according to this program. These are very carefully studied, and will only pass once the highest grades are achieved. This is an important step in the inspection process, as the homeowner is guaranteed all facets of the factory-related process have been approved to the highest standards of the Mike Holmes Inspection Program.
Factory Product Inspection
Step: 01
An approved Mike Holmes Inspector will confirm the structural framing and all Timber Block products are in order, including the building envelope, exterior trims, structural elements, and weatherproofing is complete.

On-Site Pre-Drywall Inspection
Step: 02
An approved inspector will assess home energy efficiency through a thorough examination of insulation, vapor barrier, building envelope sealing, window installation, along with a blower door test. Upon completion, a report is shared with the Timber Block Project Manager and homeowner. The Project Manager discusses the findings with the client and Builder/Contractor. Timber Block values third-party inspections by reputable experts to ensure clients' confidence in the long-lasting quality of their dream homes.
